Great Tips for Adsense Bloggers

Just a few days ago, I have read an interesting article about Adsense bloggers. I think the article is quite interesting and maybe useful to you guys. Therefore, I have pasted it here.

"If you have joined the blogging revolution that is sweeping the net, and you think you might want to make a little revenue or a lot of revenue from your blogging efforts, you need AdSense tips for bloggers. Blogging has opened up an entirely new way of how non-technical people interact with the Internet, and now, anyone can publish anything about any topic without having a website and anyone can profit without even having a product!"

Adsense for blogs make perfect sense. Google's advertising programs are designed to work with sites related to the keywords for the ads that are being presented. Each time you add content to your blog, the Google spiders gobble it up. The more you update, the more the Google spider visits your page. Ultimately, you move up in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) for the topics that you write about. You see where this is going. The higher your search ranking, the more traffic you receive, which ultimately leads to higher revenue from AdSense ads.

The beauty of blogs is their potential for rapid growth. If you become known as an expert in your area of expertise, word of mouth spreads quickly and your blog can become very popular. So it is vital that you always teach something with every blog entry. You want your readers to come back frequently and they will if they know they will learn something. Not only will your readers bookmark your blog and return often, but they will link to your blog enthusiastically as well. People in forums will refer to your blogs and discuss what they learned. Websites will link to you as a valuable resource. In short, an informative blog can grow very quickly if the information it provides is valuable.

It is important to write about specific topics, and sprinkle your blog entries with specific keywords to get the best results and the highest revenue with your Google AdSense ads. There is a method to the madness. Start your revenue generating blog by testing the waters.
Decide what area you would like to write about and then do some keyword research. Research is easy if you use Google's keyword tools found at:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

The keyword tools are located in your Google AdWord account. Yes, you need a free AdWord account to be successful but you don't have to fund it to use the keyword tools. Look for keywords related to your subject that are high paying. These are keywords where the bid amounts are high. Make a list of the top paying keywords, and use that list to determine what topics you will write about.

Remember, you want people to visit your blog time and time again, and build up a readership, make sure that your blog is well written and informative. Don't just target keywords for the sake of targeting keywords the writing needs to make sense! Writing valuable content is the first step to generating traffic to your blog, and traffic is needed to profit from AdSense ads!

You are allowed to use the AdSense ad units in two different places on each page. You can accomplish this in a couple of different ways. First, you can add the AdSense ad code to the template for your blog. This is done through the control panel for your blog, and some knowledge of HTML is needed. The other option is to paste the AdSense code directly in your blog post each time you submit a new post. You can use it once at the top and once at the bottom, or once after a few paragraphs of the post, and again after a few more paragraphs.

Get that code in there however you see fit but then pay close attention to the results so you can see what is working and what isn't. Tracking is everything if you want to make real money!
Of course, you need to advertise your blog as much as possible as well. Make sure that you provide Track backs to other people's blogs as often as possible, and that you visit blogs, leave comments and leave a link for your blog as well!

How to Get 50,000 Unique Visitors a Month

I surfed around the web and spotted a Blogger saying he get 50,000 visitors per month doing blog carnival article submission. Just before I let you know who he is, I’d like to discuss a bit why blog carnivals will help us get tremendous blog traffic.

What is a blog carnival? How does blog carnival work? How will it give us this huge blog traffic? A Blog Carnival is a particular kind of blog community. There are many kinds of blogs, and they contain articles on many kinds of topics. Blog Carnivals typically collect together links pointing to blog articles on a particular topic. It is an event, like a magazine. It explores a particular topic or niche and is published monthly, weekly or whenever the editors decide really.

A blog carnival offer huge advantages for the Online Community, it allows you to submit your related articles and have them seen by a wider audience, perhaps attracting more users to your own blog. Carnivals are easy ways to get excellent one way inbound links and traffic, and best of all, they are free. When you are just starting out or maybe still want more blog traffic you can take the full advantage of blog carnivals. All you have to do is to find the appropriate carnivals for your niche and submit your best blog posts.

By submitting your best blog posts to the carnival of your niche you can pick up dozens or even hundreds of new subscribers from each round of carnival submission making it a good place to start your marketing campaign. Steve Pavlina in one of his post said:

"In my early traffic-building days, I’d do carnivals submissions once a week and it helped a great deal in going from nothing to about 50,000 visitors per month. You still have to produce great content, but carnivals give you a free shot at marketing your unknown blog for free. Carnivals are like an open-mic night at a comedy club - they give amateurs a chance to show off their stuff. I still submit to certain carnivals every once in a while, but now my traffic is so high that relatively speaking, they don’t make much difference anymore."

So, what are you waiting for? Go, find the blog carnivals of your niche and start submitting your best posts. You will be surprise of how much blog traffic you will be getting here. Good luck!

Alternative Methods Promoting Website or Blog

Far too many web sites are not advertising offline and it was costing them large amounts of money. Don't make the same mistake as those web site owners and instead learn from their mistakes! Below you will find six powerful ways to promote your web Site Offline and gain more exposure.

Yellow Pages
Place an ad for your web site in the Yellow Pages. You would be amazed of how many people will find your web site in the Yellow Pages.

Business Cards
Have some business cards printed out; the nice thing about business cards is that they are cheap. Give your business cards out to people that might be interested in your product(s) or service(s). Give them two cards and tell them if they know any friends or family that may interested in your service or product, to give them a card.

Flyers
Get some flyers printed out with your website address, and tell them a little bit about what your service(s) or product(s) is and why they should choose it. Hang some of the flyers on bulletin boards. In most cities you can go to a local collage, Laundromat or store and put up your flyers. You would also be smart to place it in front of people's doors at their homes. Also keep a few, so when you meet someone that would be interested in your service(s) or product(s) you can give one to them.

Television
Advertising on TV can gain you huge exposure, but isn't cheap and isn't always the right place to advertise on for certain service(s) or product(s). Find TV programs that attract your target audience, many TV stations will provide you profiles of their viewers. If your on a real low budget, you may want to skip this one and try to advertise else where.

Automobile Advertising
You may be thinking I am making this up, but I'm not. Think about it, how many miles an hour do you travel in a month and than think of how many people you have passed while driving? It's just like those big trucks that deliver goods to stores and advertise their company on it. You can stick magnetic signs, stickers or whatever on your card that advertises your web site's URL.

Promotional Items
Include your web site's URL on all promotional items you give away. This could be a T-shirt, coffee mug, keychain, hats or whatever you choose. It will remind people every day of your service(s) or product(s) and in most cases it takes more than one time for a visitor to see your site before they will buy something from you.

Uncommon Tips Driving Traffic to Website or Blog

After the previous post, I think you guys must have both basic and advanced knowledge on building traffic to your site. Here comes to the final tutorial. In this tutorial, I aim to provide more information on uncommon methods. They are termed as "uncommon" because not so many people are aware of them. Although the level of effectiveness is not that high, but it is still worthwhile to know them. There are a total of five of them.

Offline advertising = Online profits
Whatever you're trying to sell online, it will most likely link to a relevant or appropriate media section offline. For example, if you're selling bicycles from your website, there will undoubtedly be a suitable offline magazine, in which you can place an ad. The purpose of the ad is not to sell your products, but to get prospects to visit your website. So your ad need only consist of a few lines, which should work out to be quite inexpensive. Your bicycle ad could read like this: Looking for a new bicycle? We stock a huge range at discount prices and can deliver within 48 hours. To learn more visit our website. www.bicycles4u.com - Your ad could be placed in cycle magazines, sports magazines or even national and local newspapers. Wherever you think you're most likely prospects will look for your products or services offline is a means to getting them to go online.

Press releases
Some people just have to know what's new, what's in and what's out. To stay ahead in this information age, online and offline press releases can offer newsworthy tidbits that could even be picked up by the national press. If you're just starting out in your online business, launching a new product or creating a new service, people will want to know about it. If this is something you haven't done before, take a look at some existing press releases by going to Google and typing 'press releases' into the search field. Once you get the idea, write out your press release, including your contact details and website URL, then go back to Google and type in 'press agencies'. Most will charge you for this service but your press release could get maximum coverage on and off the internet.

Opt-in mailing lists
Opt-in mailing lists can provide one of the most effective means of generating repeat business from your existing customer base. If your customers have bought from you once and that buying experience was satisfactory, there's a very good chance they will buy from you again because they trust you. Capture emails by encouraging your customers to sign up for your newsletter or other promotional information. Alternatively, you could rent an opt-in email list. A carefully worded e-mail message to people who have expressed an interest in receiving further information about your products or services could lead to extra sales, but be prepared to pay a princely sum.

Getting your message delivered direct to your customers
As long as anyone can remember, direct mail has been one of the most effective and profitable forms of marketing ever. Many people have made millions from direct mail and it's still as successful today as it was 50 years ago. It's also relatively easy and inexpensive. First, create a single page introductory sales letter or brochure, detailing you products or services and all the benefits. For maximum effect, offer your new customers a discount or something for free, when they first purchase from your website. Don't forget, you want them to visit your website, so give them more than a good reason to do so. Next, rent a targeted mailing list from a reputable list broker. There are lists available, which cover every conceivable geographic and demographic statistic, so whatever business you're in, there will be one that's suitable for you. Send out your 'invitations' and wait for your hit counter to melt.

Referral marketing
This is a simple strategy of referring your own customers to a related but non-competitive website in return for them doing the same for you. Let's say you are selling printers. Find some quality sites that sell printer inks and contact the webmaster. Ask them if they would be willing to send their traffic to you in return for you doing the same for them. Most will agree. Between you, you will have to decide whether to display an ad on each other's site or go for a written recommendation. Either way, it will increase the chances of you getting more traffic to your site because you have been recommended. You could seek out many related websites and have numerous streams of traffic coming directly to you.

Tips How to Building and Driving Traffic

What do you think about newsletter as explained in the previous post? Is it good? I recently heard some comments that many visitors think the information here is detailed, and a bit too detailed that he/she needs to take a long time to read and digest. They asked me whether I can write a short post that includes the core ideas of building and driving traffic to a site. I then write this post and hope you guys can understand and realize the methods of driving traffic within 5 minutes. Below are the four key points to drive and build traffic.

Search Engine Placement
SEO is a technique that every webmaster should know and understand. One surefire way to drive traffic is to get indexed in various search engines, and then trying to get a higher ranking for your site. I, for the sake of our visitors, write a post that specifically talk about SEO technique, and hope you can make a reference to that later on. Firstly, ensure your site is "search-engine friendly" and that the search engines can index your site. Check that your META tags are in order and correct. Put together a list of keywords that you would like to key in on and make sure those words/phrases are incorporated into your site. Also try to keep your keywords as specific as possible. It is extremely hard to rank high for broad keywords. Make sure the content you have on your site is quality content and grammatically correct. If writing content is not your strong point, hire a copywriter or web developer to help.

Web Directories
Web directories are sites that list sites by categories. Nowadays, there are so many web directories on the internet that provides free services for you to get listed. Get your site listed in as many web directories as possible. Try to find some directories that specialize in your industry. For example, if your site is about real estate then try to get your site into as many real estate directories as possible. Also, you need to be very careful when submitting your site to the web directories that are new to you. Beware those "Black Web Directories", "Black Web Directories" are the ones that have been penalized by Google (probably Yahoo! too). Getting listed in these sites would not increase your PR and on the other hand, have negative impact on your PR. You better choose those web directories that are well-known and have a good reputation. Getting into these directories can also help with search engine ranking. If you are not sure whether a particular kind of web directory is good or not, leave a comment to me.

Writing Articles and Newsletters
I think you should be familiar with this, if you have already read my previous post on newsletter. In order to bring people back your site, you need to have good attraction. Providing a newsletter or articles on your site that people would be interested in reading may be a nice idea. Once you write these articles you can post them on some article directories to get some traffic to your site. Newsletter are getting much popular and attentions, maybe it is the time for you to have one too!

Cost Per Click (CPC) Advertising
It is the most costly method to drive traffic. You may not require joining these programs, if you do not have strong fiscal support. CPC advertising has been the money maker for companies like Google, MSN, and Yahoo. Whenever you do a search on Google, you see that box of paid listings on the right. You need to pay whenever a person clicks on your ads. One thing that worth for your attention is Google can somehow see how interested the user is in your site and then charge you more for that click. That might sound retarded, but its great when you pay less for the clicks that only visit your front page and then leave. I highly recommend Google AdWord to all of my clients as a cost effective way to get traffic to your web site.

While there are many other ways to get more traffic to your web site, this should be a good starting point. The key to getting more traffic is getting your site's name out there. Post it everywhere you can and with every thing you do. It's a long process, but well worth the effort.

Newsletter as Another Tools for Driving Traffic

After mentioning about the six most important factors in driving factors, here comes to a useful tool in the internet that is often omitted by most webmasters. When it comes to making money on the internet, getting high volumes of traffic is the key. As web site traffic goes up, so too does click through revenue, since click through rates tend to be somewhat consistent. If we can assume that 5% of web site visitors (that is a pretty normal CTR indeed) will click your AdSense ads, the site that gets 500 unique visitors per day can expect to make five times the amount of money as the site with a mere 100 unique visitors. It is easy to see therefore why so much focus goes into boosting web site traffic, and why a veritable cottage industry has sprung up to help webmasters drive targeted traffic to their sites.

There are of course many different strategies for driving this targeted traffic to a web site, but one of the most unique and most effective is the use of newsletters. A well written and useful newsletter can be a great way to drive traffic and capture new visitors. In addition, the mailing list for the newsletter can provide valuable leads for your advertisers and owners of linked web sites.

And while you will not be able to send your AdSense ads directly to the mailboxes of your subscribers (this is definitely against Google's TOS), you will be able to use the newsletters you create to drive repeat visitors back to your website. After all, if the readers of your newsletter find your newsletter content attractive and interesting, they are likely to visit your website in search of more useful information. When they do, these visitors will see your AdSense hosted ads, and they may be more likely to click them due to their familiarity with your products and your style.

This brings up another great feature of newsletters - what we may call the expert factor. If your newsletter readers come to look upon you as an expert in your field, whether that field is finance or car repair, they will be more willing to take a chance on the ads they see on your site. This expert status can greatly increase click through rates, and this can in turn provide higher streams of revenue from the same number of web site visitors.

A well written newsletter is also a great asset to provide people who sign up for your mailing list. A large mailing list can be a huge asset to the owner of any web site, and can provide leads for affiliates and advertisers alike. Providing a free newsletter can be a great way to get visitors to your site and have them see your ads.

The content for a newsletter can come from virtually anywhere. It depends on your preference and area of your expertise. It ranges from article directories and prewritten articles to content you provide yourself or even form public domain sources. The important thing is that the content provided in the newsletter be useful and compelling enough to get the visitors to click through to your web site and your AdSense advertisers.

Tips How to Drive Targeted Traffic to Your Blog

In my blog, I will discuss in-depth on how to drive traffic to one's site. Everybody knows that traffic is very important in earning clicks and revenue. However, building traffic is no easy task and requires a certain period of time to do so. In this case, I will try giving you five tutorials (maybe more in the future) about the ways to drive traffic to my site.

Optimize Your Website
It is a matter of SEO. Maybe you have never heard of it. Even though you heard about it already, not everyone is familiar with it. In fact, Search engines will look at both the internal and external profile of your website while assigning a rank to a web page.
Internal profile of a website (which is so-called On-Page Optimization) includes usage of Meta tags, heading tags, keywords, targeted content, and internal linking of website. External profile of your website defines the websites that are linking to your website. It also defines the pages where your link is placed. Besides, it identifies the Page Ranking of those pages along with the placement of your link. And it also includes the number of inward links you are getting. Using the relevant keywords in anchor text gives a boost to rankings on the search engine result pages (SERPs). For more information on On-page optimization, please refer to our relevant posts in this site.

Linking your website
After talking about the on-page optimization, here comes to off-page optimization. More often, webmasters only focus on on-page optimization, and neglect the presence of off-page optimization. In the world of internet, there are two kinds of links - External Links and Internal Links. External Links define the websites that are linking to your website Internal whereas Links refer to the internal linking of web pages. Getting links from other websites is the most powerful tool to drive traffic to your website. The results are instantaneous and highly effective. Getting links from quality websites with higher PR and proper anchor text definitely helps your site a lot and results in more fruitful traffic from search engines. Half the battle is won if you are able to provide the links in abundance. There are many tools available for automatically building links to your website. There are some link exchange directories on the net which are a good support in link building campaigns. However, the use of these support systems depends entirely on your beliefs and strategies. Proper inter-linking (that is intra-linking) of your web pages is also relevant and significant in driving traffic.

Post Articles
It is important that you publish and post more and more articles on the net or article websites. This gives you an advantage as it gets incoming links to your website. Posting unique articles catering to the interest of a large number of readers is also an effective way of driving organic traffic to your website. Well written articles bring more traffic to your website. More traffic means more profit for you. It is observed that as the PR of your website increases, the AdSense payouts also increase. You can hope to get many more internal links to your website through this medium. Search engines take into account the number of quality back links while assigning rank to your website. If visitors reading your articles are interested, they will check out your website and you will have increased number of links. In comparison to the links that point to other websites from your website, the links that point to your website give more points to your rankings.

Anchor Text
Anchor Text refers to the clickable text of a hyperlink. Anchor Text plays an important role with regard to the target traffic as well as the search engine rankings. An appropriate Anchor Text apprises the visitors of the content of the page it links to.
Besides, Anchor Text gives a real clue to the search engines regarding the content of the web page it links to. The right Anchor Text improves your website's search engine ranking. That's why it's imperative to pick the Anchor Text astutely.
Google reckons Anchor Text to be an indicator of the page relevance. Google, using its special operator "allinanchor:keyword", separately indexes the Anchor Text. Given below are some tips for choosing the right Anchor Text that suits the search engine algorithms, and attracts the right traffic.

Tools
To a lesser extent, website tools make your website user friendly. It is recommended that you make use of the tools that are visitor friendly. New scripts and innovative schemes for the visitor help you get more inward links. This in turn builds traffic to your website. You should add the tools that are attractive. For example, you can offer free e-books, or introduce new exciting sections relevant to your website. This will make your website exciting for the visitors. Google loves unique content. It richly rewards the websites that provide more content and better facilities to the visitors. Google likes genuine of traffic coming to your website from Ad Sense network. Genuine traffic yields higher payouts. Website tools make your website a genuine one. The credibility of your website increases the probability of your website getting high paying ads via Google.

Target Niche Keywords
It is important for you to identify the niche markets. This will enable you to fetch the traffic that has not been targeted much, and at the same time gels well with your industry. If your competitor is leading with X traffic on one keyword, you can compete with him by targeting ten niche keywords. This will give you the same amount of traffic. Keyword country provides you with hordes of niche keywords. These niche keywords bring more target traffic to your web pages. This results in a better ROI (if you are selling products or affiliates) or an increased Adsense CTR (Click Thru Ratio) of your ads.

Importance of Traffic to Adsense Website

What do you think about traffic? In reality, busy traffic is undesirable and not beneficial to a society. However, on the other hand, in the world of internet, traffic is a good thing. As we all know, traffic is a very valuable asset to a website, especially the one with Google Adsense Ads inside. Without traffic, you won't have clicks; without clicks, you won't have any revenue. Do you know how large the traffic volume is for those really “big” sites? They can even have more than 300 clicks per day for their sites. It is quite extraordinary to a newbie of Adsense.

As time goes on, more and more webmasters begin to realize the importance of traffic to their sites. The amount of traffic generated by a given site is perhaps the most important predictor of the amount of AdSense revenue it generates. Therefore, to me, traffic is KING!! Even with the importance of factors such as proper formatting and placement of ads, no site can succeed without a sufficient number of visitors checking out the ads being offered.

For illustration purposes, let us look at a website that is receiving 100 visitors per day (it is quite difficult to achieve for some AdSense newbie). Let's assume that the size gets an average of 10 cents per click, with a CTR of 5%. This means that of those 100 visitors, only 50 will click the ad (the 5% figure is a pretty realistic standard). That means that an average day's earnings would be a mere half a dollar, with an average monthly take of only $15 or so. These measly earnings may not even be enough to cover the hosting fees for the site. In order to earn even $60 per month, it would be necessary to quadruple the number of daily visitors, increase the click through rate, or both. You can see, therefore, why it is so important to constantly strive to drive more and more traffic through your virtual doors.

There are of course a number of strategies to increase web traffic, and most webmasters will have heard the term SEO, or search engine optimization. SEO techniques use a combination of targeted content rich in popular keywords, links from other sites and other methods to drive traffic and increase search engine rankings. Search engine rankings can be vital to website traffic, of course, since most people use some sort of search engine to find the information they need on a variety of subjects. Pay per click advertising, or PPC, is another popular way to build traffic to a site.

While this strategy can be very effective, it can also be quite costly, so it is important to carefully read the fine print of the agreement before signing up. Apart from that, you need to be very careful to those paid-to-surf, paid-to-click and auto-surf programs. Google can detect these programs very effectively, and in f act, many webmasters were being banned by Google just because they enrolled these programs. So, be careful to void these sorts of programs.

Hope this post can give you a brief introduction on how importance the traffic is to a site. If you have any enquiries, please kindly leave me a comment.
